  John W. Tice LEBANON John W. Tice, 83, of 248 S. 22nd St., died Saturday, 
  December 12, 2009, at the Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Mary 
  Showers Tice. Born in Lebanon, on December 3, 1926, John was the son of the 
  late John H. and Irene Reilly Tice. He was a retired Electrician at the former 
  Lebanon Steel Foundry. John was a U.S. Air Force veteran, having served during 
  World War II. John was a 1945 graduate of St. Mary's School, a member of the 
  Fredericksburg Legion, and the Lebanon VFW Post 23. He was a member of St. 
  Mary's Church and a member of the Holy Name Society. He enjoyed camping, his 
  horses, traveling, watching golf, and fishing with the neighborhood kids. In 
  addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, John H. Tice and fiancee, 
  Gloria Horn of Lebanon, and William P., husband of Maggi Tice of Delaware; and 
  nine grandchildren, Andrew, Adam, Molly, Chris, Billy, Scott, Sarah, BJ, and 
  OJ. He was preceded in death by a sister, Agnes Sanders. Funeral Mass Tuesday 
  at 10 a.m. from St. Mary's Church, 2 N. 8th St., Lebanon. Interment at Holy 
  Cross Cemetery with military honors. Viewing hours Tuesday morning from 9 to 10 
  at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the 
  Four Diamonds Fund, Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Penn State 
  College of Medicine, Office of University Development and Alumni Relations, 
  A120, P.O. Box 852, Hershey, PA 17033. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., Lebanon, is 
  in charge of arrangements.
