  Gerald E. Umberger LEBANON Gerald E. 'Jerry' Umberger, 84, Lebanon, died 
  Saturday, November 28, 2009, at the VA Medical Center in Lebanon. He was born 
  February 9, 1925, to the late John M. and Stella M. Miller Umberger in East 
  Hanover Twp. Mr. Umberger was a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed playing 
  cards and bingo at the Senior Center. Surviving are daughter Linda M. Umberger, 
  companion of Jorge Pizarro of Palmyra; son, John G., spouse of Dawn Umberger of 
  Pine Grove; sister, Erla Baxter; grandchildren, Melinda S. Umberger, Jennifer 
  Abbas, Leah Umberger; and greatgrandchildren, Ayana Figueroa, Josiah Umberger, 
  Cody Umberger. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at 
  Christman's Funeral Home, Inc. at 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon. Memorial 
  services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment will 
  be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery following the service. Memorials can be 
  sent to American Cancer Society, 526 Cumberland St., P.O. Box 1274 Lebanon, PA 
  17042-1274. Christman's Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to serve the family with 
  the arrangements.
