  Betty Jean Via, 65, of Palmyra died Tuesday, February 10, 2009, in the Hershey 
  Medical Center. Born in Grottoes, Va., on February 25, 1943, she was the 
  daughter of the late John and Margaret Shifflet Via. Margaret attended Palmyra 
  High School, and was a factory worker at the Hershey Foods Inc. for 36 years. 
  She was a member of the Chocolate Workers Union Local 464, and loved cooking, 
  baking, and spending time with her family. She is survived by brothers John Via 
  Jr. of Hershey, Kenneth Via of Grantville, Richard Via of Palmyra and Steven 
  Via of Hershey; sisters Barbara Worman of Hale, Mo., Carol Nye of Benton, and 
  Christine Burdge of Palmyra; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in 
  death by a brother, Jeffrey Via; and sisters Wanda Via and Paula Via. Funeral 
  services will be held on Monday, February 16, 2009, at 11 a.m. from the Kreamer 
  Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be in 
  the Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra. Viewing will take place on Sunday from 6-8 
  p.m., and on Monday from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, 
  contributions may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, 2600 
  Network Blvd., Suite 300, Frisco, TX 75034.
