Wagner, 86, of 557 Freemason Drive, Masonic Village, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2009. Born in Parsons, Pa., on March 2, 1923, she was the daughter of the late John M and Grace C. Wagner. Surviving are her son, Robert Daniel Barbush and his wife, Claudia A. Barbush of Lancaster; grandson, Robert David Barbush and his wife, Tammy Barbush of Harrisburg; granddaughter, Julie Barbush Patterson and her husband, John Patterson of Lewisberry; granddaughter, Jennifer Barbush Manfred and her husband, Gene Manfred of Middletown; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Cassie, and Christian Barbush, Kailee and Jordyn Patterson, and Alexis and Natashia Manfred; two brothers, Richard M. Wagner and his wife, Alice Ann Wagner of Harrisburg, and John M. Wagner and his wife, Mary Clare Wagner of Spring Hill, Fla.; nephew, John M. Wagner and his wife, Tina Wagner of Alexandria, Va.; nephew, Carl M. Wagner and his wife, Helen Wagner of Harrisburg; nephews, Donald Filippelli of Virginia and Kenneth Filippelli of Delaware; niece and godchild, Marla Jones of Hummelstown; and niece, Debra Filippelli of Delaware. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert C. Wagner and Donald R. Wagner. After retiring from the Registration Department at the Dauphin County Court House and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Joanie enjoyed going to the beach, reading , crossword puzzles, shopping, and spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren. A memorial service is planned for Thursday August 27, 2009, at 1030 a.m. at the Sell Chapel at Masonic Village at One Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Hospice of Lancaster County, 4075 Old Harrisburg Pike, Mount Joy, PA 17552; or to Masonic Village, One Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA 170222199.
