  Arnold G. Wampler, 85, of Lebanon died Friday, February 20, 2009, in his 
  residence. He was the husband of Betty O. Hartz Wampler with whom he celebrated 
  their 60th Wedding Anniversary this past October. Born in S. Annville Twp. on 
  August 22, 1923, he was the son of the late Homer and Delfie Hale Wampler. He 
  was a retired truck driver from Bender's Trucking, Annville, and a member of 
  the Annville Church of the Brethren, where he sang in the choir. Surviving in 
  addition to his wife are two sons, Carlos Wampler of Orrtanna, and Weldon 
  Wampler of Lebanon; three daughters, Doreen, wife of Steve Schaefer of 
  Parkville, MD; Sheila, wife of Gary Swank of Jacksonville Beach, Fla.; and 
  Sherri, wife of Thomas Nittinger of Boonsboro, MD; 10 grandchildren; six 
  greatgrandchildren and a brother, Isaac Wampler of Palmyra. He was preceded in 
  death by brothers William, Harry, Paul, Harold, and Warren Wampler and sisters 
  Alda Wampler, Margaret Kreider, Effie Ebersole, Naomi Martzall, Esther Smith, 
  and Mary Miller. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM from the 
  Annville Church of the Brethren, 495 E. Maple Street, Annville, PA 17003. 
  Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in South Annville 
  Cemetery. No Viewing or Visitation. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be 
  made to his church or AseraCare Hospice, 75 South Houcks Road, Suite 101, 
  Harrisburg, PA 17109. Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Annville, is in 
  charge of arrangements.
