Webb, 78, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2009, at the VA Medical Center, Lebanon. He was the husband of Frances Lois (Cusic) Webb. William was born in Frackville, on February 2, 1931, a son of the late Samuel and Esther Hollenbach Webb. He was a retired shoe department manager, having worked for Ames. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Neversink Fire Department, Lebanon, and a charter member of the BPOE Elks Lodge, Temple Hills, Md. He was of the Methodist Faith. He enjoyed gardening and was a huge Redskin fan. In addition to his wife, Lois, he is survived by two stepchildren, John Webb of Delaware, and Janet Webb of West Virginia; a grandson, Jason Webb; a granddaughter, Heidi Coons; a great- grandson, Gavin Coons; two brothers, Robert Webb of Cumbola and John Webb of Orwigsburg; a sister, Patricia Clark of Mohrsville; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Webb; two sisters, Esther Hovick and Betty Shoener; and a niece, Jackie Harlosky. Funeral Service will be at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon, Thursday at 3 p.m. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VA Medical Center, Hospice Unit, 1700 S. Lincoln Ave. Lebanon, PA 17042.
