Shabodeho@aol.com August 21, 2009, 2:36 pm Published in the Lebanon Daily News on 8/6/2009 Webber, Harold Reed "Buddy" Harold Reed Webber TOWSON, MD Harold "Buddy" Reed Webber, 77, formerly of Stouchsburg, died on Tuesday, August 4, 2009, at Gilchrist Hospice Care, Towson, Md. He was the husband of June Marie (Fleagle) Webber, to whom he would have been married 55 years on September 12, 2009. Born in Stouchsburg, on August 10, 1931, he was the son of the late John and Mildred (Potteiger) Webber. He was a 1949 graduate of Robesonia High School and received his BA in Music Education from Lebanon Valley College in 1956. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He had been an instrumental music teacher at Lutherville Elementary School, Lutherville, Md., and the Pleasant Plains Elementary School, Towson, Md., for 10 years. He had also been an insurance agent for several insurance companies in Maryland. He worshipped in the Protestant faith. He was a member of the Parkville, Md., American Legion, played the trumpet in the Big Band Group "Sentimental Journey" in Baltimore, Md., and enjoyed dancing, camping, and traveling. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, April, wife of Richard Krell, Eldersburg, Md., Adrienne, wife of Robert Beam, Towson, Md., Angela, wife of William Rubin , Towson, Md., and Ashley Webber, Baltimore, Md.; five grandchildren; brother, Richard, husband of Sarah Webber, Womelsdorf; sister-in-law, Linda Webber, Palmyra; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Webber. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. from Tulpehocken UCC, Richland. Viewing at 10 a.m. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tulpehocken U.C.C., 961 Tulpehocken Road, Richland, PA 17087. Grose Funeral Home, Myerstown, is in charge of arrangements.
