  Violet L. Weik, 87, formerly of Heidelberg Twp., died Friday, February 6, 2009, 
  of natural causes in ECC Retirement Village, Albright Campus, Myerstown, where 
  she had been a resident since 2007. She was the wife of the late Raymond P. 
  Weik, who died May 30, 1997. Born July 26, 1921, in Berks Co., she was the 
  daughter of the late John S. & Lucinda (Auchenbach) Schell. She was a 
  homemaker. She was a member of Elias United Church of Christ, Newmanstown. She 
  is survived by one brother, John C. Schell, Lebanon, and two sisters, Madeline 
  (Schell) Tranquillo, Robesonia, and Marilyn (Schell) Meyer, Robesonia. Funeral 
  Services will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2009, at 11:00 AM, in Elias UCC, 
  9 N. Sheridan Rd., Newmanstown, PA 17073. Interment will follow in Millcreek 
  Memorial Cemetery, Newmanstown. Friends may call Wednesday from 10:00 AM until 
  time of service at the church. Memorial Contributions may be made to Elias UCC 
  at the above address or to the Alzheimers Association, 501 Washington St., 
  Reading, PA 19601. The Hetrick-Mull Funeral Home, Inc., Womelsdorf, is in 
  charge of arrangements.
