  Mary H. Wenrich, age 81 of Fredericksburg, formerly of Ravine, passed away 
  Friday, January 2, 2009 in York Terrace Nursing Home, Pottsville. Born on 
  November 9, 1927 in Tremont Twp., Pa., she was a daughter of the late Leo and 
  Matilda Bonawitz Foy. Mary was a graduate of Tremont Township School. She was a 
  member of St. Paul's U.C.C. Church in Ravine. Mary worked as a Threader for the 
  former Gold Mills, Inc., in Pine Grove. She was preceded in death by her 
  husband of 40 years, Thomas M. "Gins" Wenrich, Jr., on June 12, 1984, and by 
  two daughters, Patti Lu Wenrich on June 25, 1985, and Ruth Ann wife of "Shorty" 
  Witmer on March 16, 1993. Surviving are a son, Leo husband of Barbara Wenrich 
  of Fredericksburg, a daughter, Jean Mary wife of Brian Smith of Harrisburg, a 
  companion, Richard Weible of Fredericksburg, four grandchildren, Tammy Lynn and 
  husband, Steve Betz of Pine Grove, M. Brett and wife, Aubrey Graeser of 
  Harrisburg, Scott Michael and wife Jolene Witmer and Patrick Thomas Witmer both 
  of Pine Grove, four great grandchildren, Boderick Witmer, Zachery Witmer, 
  Brianna Betz and Brady Betz. Services will be held at H.L. Snyder Funeral Home, 
  Inc., Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Mary Lou Eckels 
  officiating. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, January 6 at the H.L. Snyder 
  Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove, PA. from noon until 1:00 P.M. Interment will 
  follow in the St. Paul's U.C.C. Cemetery, Pine Grove, Pa. 17963. Contributions 
  may be made to the Breast Cancer Research, Susan G. Komen for the Cure: Attn: 
  Gift Management Services, 5005 LBJ Freeway Suite 250, Dallas, Texas 75244, in 
  her memory.
