  Christina Elizabeth Wentling, 98, of Lebanon passed away at home April 12, 
  2009. Born January 18, 1911, in Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late 
  William P. and Mary Allwein Wentling. She was a 1928 graduate of Lebanon High 
  School and served for many years as the director and treasurer for the class. 
  She was well known in the community for her 50 years with Peoples National 
  Bank, where she was the first woman assistant cashier in banking. She appeared 
  on a game show called "What's My Line" for her banking accomplishments. She was 
  a member of the Soroptimist/Business Women's Club. She loved animals and had 
  many dogs. Her current faithful companion, Manny, will miss her love and 
  attention. Though she leaves our loving arms, we know she will be in the realms 
  of glory, and He will smile and rejoice as we reflect on the stories and love 
  she has brought to our lives. She was a member of St. Mary's Assumption BVM 
  Church, 2 N. Eighth St., Lebanon, PA 17046. She is survived by a sister, Mary 
  Agnes (Wentling) Dennison of North Carolina; sistersin-law Lena M. (Tonini) 
  Wentling Hill, Kathryn (Strouphar) Wentling; and many nieces and nephews. 
  Preceded in death by brothers Charles and William A. Wentling, and a niece and 
  nephews. Funeral Mass Friday at 10 a.m. from St. Mary's Church. Interment at 
  Holy Cross Cemetery. Viewing Friday, 9-10 a.m., at the church. Memorial 
  contributions to St. Mary's Church or the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 
  N. Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 17067. Thompson Funeral Home Inc., Lebanon, in
