  Lewis A. Werner, 84, who for the past five years resided in Glen Lion, Pa., 
  with his daughter and son-in-law, died Saturday, March 28, 2009, in Birchwood 
  Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Nantikoke. He was the husband of Charlotte 
  J. Sanders Werner, to whom he was married to for 60 years. Born in Lancaster on 
  October 23, 1924, he was the son of the late Thomas and Lillian Z. Buchton 
  Werner. He was retired mail handler from the Harrisburg Post Office and also 
  worked at Beatex Plaster, Lebanon. Lewis was a member of the Mail Handlers 
  Union, enjoyed woodworking and fishing, and adored his grandchildren and 
  greatgrandchildren. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Sherry, 
  wife of David Finogle, with whom he lived; a son, Terry L., husband of Denise 
  Werner of Las Vegas, Nev.; a brother, Oliver Werner of Willow Street, Pa.; 
  three grandchildren, Kenneth, husband of Victoria Sauley, Michael Werner, and 
  Shannon Werner; and two greatgrandchildren, Mitchell and Megan Sauley. He was 
  preceded in death by two brothers, Jesse and Richard; a sister, Sarah; and a 
  grandson, Nicholas Werner. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. 
  from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main Street, Annville. 
  Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park. Viewing will be held on 
  Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, 
  contributions may be made the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1274, Lebanon, 
  PA 17042, 717273-4740.
