  White, John C. 
   
  
  John C. White, 84, of Grantville died Tuesday May 12, 2009 in the Good 
  Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the husband of Mildred Mickey White to whom 
  he was married for 32 years. Born in Lebanon on March 25, 1925 he was the son 
  of the late John and Sarah Brown White. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in 
  World War II and worked in the foundry at Quaker Alloy for 30 years. John was a 
  member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Grantville and enjoyed woodworking 
  and golfing. In addition to his wife he is survived by a son Gregory White and 
  wife Karen of Lebanon; daughter Brenda Spitler of Lebanon; step-son Donald 
  Witmer of Annville; step-daughter Marie wife of Richard Bowman, Jr. of 
  Annville; sister Betty wife of Albert Kulbitski of Lebanon; four grandchildren; 
  five stepgrandchildren; four greatgrandchildren and seven step-grandchildren. 
  He was preceded in death by a brother Robert White and a sister Hazel Fishell. 
  Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM from the Kreamer and Lum 
  Funeral Home and Crematory, 5 Campmeeting Road, Jonestown. Interment will be 
  held in Lemberger's Cemetery, E. Hanover Twp. Viewing will be held one hour 
  prior to the service from 10:00-11:00AM at the funeral home. In lieu of 
  flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association 
  P.O. Box 1263 Lebanon, PA 17042 or the Alzheimer's Association 3544 N. Progress 
  Ave. Suite 205 Harrisburg, PA 17110.
