  Harvey L. Whitman Jr. Harvey L. "Butch" Whitman Jr., 59, of Jonestown died 
  Wednesday, March 11, 2009, in his residence. He was born in Lebanon on July 22, 
  1949, son of the late Harvey L. Whitman Sr., and the late Dorothy Saylor 
  Whitman. He was veteran in the U.S. Army, where he was stationed in Panama 
  during the Vietnam War. He also was employed by the 28th Finance Company during 
  Desert Storm. He was a truck driver for Farmers Pride, Fredericksburg, where he 
  retired in 2008. "Butch" was a former pro-stock driver "#3" at Linda's 
  Speedway, Jonestown. He was an avid Eagles and NASCAR fan, who also enjoyed 
  riding his motorcycle. He is survived by his son, Harvey L. "Rick" Whitman III 
  of Jonestown; daughter Candyann Whitman of Lebanon; brother Robert C. Whitman 
  and wife Darlene of Jonestown; sisters Sandra F., wife of John Klingler of 
  Lebanon, Barbara A. Adams of Myerstown. He was preceded in death by his brother-
  inlaw, Henry Adams; and his nephew, Scott Adams. Memorial services will be held 
  Tuesday, March 17, 2009, at 10 a.m. in the Rohland Funeral Home, Fifth and 
  Cumberland streets, Lebanon, where a visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Interment 
  will be made in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. In lieu of flowers, 
  contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Lebanon County Unit, 
  P.O. Box 1274, Lebanon, PA 17042.
