  Verling Ernest Wolfe, 77, of the CR Mengel HealthCare Center, Albright Campus, 
  ECC Home, Myerstown, PA died April 25, 2009 at the ECC Home. He was the husband 
  of Elmona M. Peifer Wolfe of Lebanon, PA. They would have been married 30 years 
  on May 18th. Born January 1, 1932, in Fredericksburg, PA, he was the son of the 
  late Ernest and Florence Boltz Wolfe. He was a 1952 graduate of Lebanon High 
  School. He worked as a salesman for Met-Ed, was a building contractor, and 
  retired as a carpenter foreman from Ft. Indiantown Gap after 25 years. Verling 
  was a member of Zion "Goshert's" United Church of Christ in Mt. Zion, PA. He 
  was also a member and past president of the Izaak Walton League of America, a 
  life member of the Rural Security Fire Company and a member of the Friendship 
  and Mt. Zion Fire Companies. Surviving in addition to his wife, are 6 adult 
  children: Michael, Mt. Joy; Steven; Leola; Edward, Mass.; Donald, MS; Patricia 
  Stach, Ill.; Linda Coe, Manheim and a step-daughter Wendy Colbert of GA. He had 
  16 grandchildren and 2 stepgrandchildren. Other relatives include a brother, 
  Gordon Wolfe, Elizabethtown and 2 sisters, Jean Heister of Myerstown and Ruth 
  Bailor of Jonestown. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM from 
  the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main Street, Annville. 
  Entombment will be held in Grand View Memorial Park Mausoleum. Viewing will be 
  held from 1-2 PM prior to the services. In lieu of flowers contributions may be 
  made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1274, Lebanon, PA 17042.
