  Elaine M. Yarnell, 79, of Lebanon, Pa., died Tuesday, January 20, 2009, at the 
  Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon, Pa. She was the wife of William T. Yarnell, 
  to whom she was married 55 years on September 4. Born in Staten Island, New 
  York, on January 3, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Evelyn 
  (McMillan) Rode. She worked as a bookkeeper for Saul Printing, Denver, Pa., for 
  many years. She was a member of Mary Gate of Heaven Catholic Church, Myerstown, 
  Pa., and enjoyed doing crafts. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a 
  daughter, Susan Yarnell, at home; son William T., husband of Donna Yarnell of 
  Kleinfeltersville, Pa.; two grandchildren; a brother; sister; and several 
  nieces and nephews. A memorial Mass will be held Monday, January 26, 2009, at 
  10 a.m. from Mary Gate of Heaven Catholic Church, 188 W. McKinley Ave., 
  Myerstown, Pa. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of 
  flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity. Grose 
  Funeral Home, Myerstown, is in charge of arrangements.
