  Ronald Yeakley ENCINITAS, CA Ronald (Ron) Yeakley, 73, a former Myerstown 
  author, died Monday, October 12, 2009, at his residence. Born March 18, 1936, 
  in Lebanon, he was the son of the late Albert and Annie Boyer Yeakley. 
  Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Patricia; daughter, Ann, wife of, Marc 
  Madison; son, Evan; grandchildren , Alex and Sydney Madison; sister, Marilyn, 
  wife of, William Szerba; and nephews, Ryan Parker and Sean Szerba. Ron 
  graduated from Myerstown High School in 1954. He earned a degree at Temple 
  University in radio/television, and did additional graduate work at UCLA. He 
  had worked in the early days of television as cameraman, producer, director and 
  writer. A Celebration of Life will be held in California at the convenience of 
  the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the local American Cancer 
  Society; or NPR.
