  Carl K. Yiengst, 77, of 1322 Birch Road, Lebanon, died Saturday, January 3, 
  2009, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon. He was born December 21, 1931, to 
  the late Leon and Verna Miller Yiengst in Myerstown. He was a member of 
  Zion "Goshert's" United Church of Christ at Mt. Zion. He was a veteran of 
  Korean Conflict. He worked in construction, and later was self-employed. He was 
  involved with the Izaak Walton League, enjoyed sports, especially the 
  Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles. He also enjoyed spending time with his 
  grandchildren. Surviving are wife Marian Yiengst of Lebanon; son Kevin C. 
  Yiengst and fianc"e Kelly Grabowski of York; daughter Kristin A., spouse of 
  Brian Vukovich of Lebanon; sisters Betty Funk of Lebanon and Helen Ginder of 
  Schaefferstown; brothers Richard L. Yiengst of Lebanon, and Robert W. Yiengst 
  of Myerstown; grandchildren Erin M. Yiengst and fianc" Justin Moyer of Lebanon, 
  Bryce Vukovich of Lebanon, Regan Vukovich of Lebanon, and Aidan Vukovich of 
  Lebanon. Services will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2009, at 12:30 p.m. at 
  Christman's Funeral Home Inc. at 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon, with viewing 
  one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National 
  Cemetery. Memorials can be sent to American Cancer Society, 526 Cumberland St., 
  PO Box 1274, Lebanon, PA 17042-1274.
