Yingst, recently of Spang Crest Manor, passed away Monday, September 7, 2009, to be with the Lord. He was the loving husband of Joyce Muth Yingst, with whom he would have celebrated 64 years of marriage in December. They were married at Friedens Lutheran Church, Myerstown on December 15, 1945. Aldus was a building contractor for many years until he retired in 2005. His recreation was camping and traveling to Florida. He was a member of the Travel Times Camping Club; No Mads Camping Group; Cedars Hunting Club in Tioga County and the Cleona Senior Citizens Club. He was an active member of St. James Lutheran Church of 2nd and Chestnut St., Lebanon where he served as an usher in the past. He is survived by his children, Jaeffrey Yingst and wife, Kathy of Pine Grove, and Sharon Fleischer and husband, William of Lebanon; five grandchildren, Michael Yingst and wife, Beth, Bill Fleischer and wife, Jeneen, Andrew Fleischer and wife, Alisha, Kipenie Yingst and Jaeffrey Yingst, Jr.; stepgrandchildren, Allison Mohn and Amanda Mohn; great- grandchildren, Parker Yingst, Max Fleischer and Miles Fleischer; brothers, Herbert Yingst and wife, Ellie of Ono, Mervin Yingst and wife, Anna of Cleona, Vernon Yingst of Lebanon; sisters, Jessie Wanner of Bernville, Nancy Walker and husband, Dennis of Lebanon; and an uncle, Martin Shenk of Cleona. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday in the St. James Lutheran Church, 2nd & Chestnut St., Lebanon, PA 17042. Interment will be made in the Friedens Memorial Park, Myerstown. Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon and Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to his church.
