  Russell A. Yingst LEBANON Russell "Sam" A. Yingst, 87, died Tuesday, August 4, 
  2009, at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey. He was the husband of 
  Virginia M. (Focht) Yingst, to whom he was married 64 years on May 10, 2009. 
  Born in Lebanon, January 7, 1922, he was the son of the late Paul E. and Sarah 
  (Ebersole) Yingst. He was a 1941 graduate of Lebanon High School and a 1978 
  graduate of Northern Virginia Community College. He served in the U.S. Army 
  during WWII. He had been the supervisor of pest control for Yingst 
  Exterminators, Lebanon, from 1948-1960, then became an exterminator for the 
  Dept. of Defense at IGMR, Annville, and Ft. Belvoir, Va., for many years, 
  retiring in 1980. He was a life member of the Jonestown American Legion, 
  Lebanon VFW, Hemlock Archery Club, the National Rifle Assn., the Jonestown Fish 
  & Game, and was an avid sportsman. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 
  sons, David C., husband of Lori Yingst of Lebanon, and Russell A., husband of 
  Fay Yingst of Jonestown; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, 
  Kitty Long of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death 
  by a daughter, Suzanne H. Hanks; grandson, Kenneth O. Yingst; brother, Paul 
  Yingst; and sisters, Barbara Kleinfelter, June Coleman, and Evelyn Eiler. 
  Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be 
  made to the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N. Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 
  17067. Grose Funeral Home, Myerstown, is in charge of arrangements.
