Yorty, 91, went to be with the Lord Monday, November 9, 2009, at the Dove House of Westminster, Md. She was the widow of Paul Yorty, who died in 1994. They had been married for 58 years. Born January 17, 1918, in Sunnyside, Lebanon County, now known as Cleona, she was the daughter of the late John A. and Fannie (Stover) Moyer. She attended Church of the Nazarene, Gettysburg. Sarah is survived by her only daughter and son- inlaw with whom she resided, Ruth Ann Zechman and Donald of Westminster, Md.; four grandchildren, Randy Zechman and wife, Janet of Littlestown, Minel Zechman and wife, Blythe of Westminster, Md., Cindy Hatfield and husband, David of New Oxford, and Cathy Zechman and companion, Tom Gettys of Dover; 13 great- grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Sarah was the last of her immediate family. She was predeceased by brothers, Morris, Clarence, Paul, and Charles Moyer; sister, Ellen Fuhrman; and two great-grandsons, Paul Mark Zechman and Steven Lloyd Hatfield. Paul and Sarah were campground hosts at Codorus State Park, Hanover, for many years. They camped by Pinchot State Park and Pinegrove Furnace. They were "Snowbirds" and lived in their camper full-time, spending winters in Florida. Sarah enjoyed reading, birdwatching, bingo, and dirt track racing. She attended local racing up to her death. She enjoyed watching her son-in-law, grandson, and great- grandson participate. Sarah enjoyed her family, who will miss her very much. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Little's Funeral Home, Littlestown, with the Rev. Thomas Moser, retired Church of the Nazarene minister, officiating. A viewing will be Friday 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Silver Run, Md.
