  Edith L. Zehring CORNWALL Edith L. Zehring, 92, of Cornwall Manor, formerly of 
  Richland, died Friday, October 9, 2009, at M.S. Hershey Medical Center, 
  Hershey. She was the wife of Edgar C. Zehring, to whom she was married 66 years 
  on July 26, 2009. Born in Heidelberg Twp., on December 23, 1916, she was the 
  daughter of the late Isaac and Katie (Beatzel) Mock. Mrs. Zehring was a 
  graduate of the Heidelberg Township High School and had been employed as a 
  payroll clerk at the Richland Knitting Mills, Richland. She was a longtime 
  member of LJ's Fitness, Womelsdorf, and an avid naturalist who was very skilled 
  in identifying wildflowers. She and her husband hiked the Appalachian Trail 
  from Harper's Ferry, W.Va., to the New York border. They were world travelers. 
  In addition to her husband, she is survived by sisters, Ruth Sonnen of Richland 
  and Martha Bennetch of Newmanstown; brothers, Aaron Mock of Heidelberg Twp., 
  Paul Mock of Hershey, Donald Mock of Heidelberg Twp., Luke Mock of 
  Schaefferstown, and John Mock of Iona; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was 
  preceded in death by a sister, Miriam Miller, and brother, Monroe Mock. There 
  will be no services. Private interment will be at Indiantown Gap National 
  Cemetery, Annville. The family requests no flowers. Grose Funeral Home, 
  Myerstown, is in charge of arrangements.
