Arnold HERSHEY Martin Luther Arnold, 87, passed away Monday, July 5, 2010, at his home. Martin was born June 16, 1923, in Norristown, to Martin L. Arnold, Sr. and Elsie May (Jones) Arnold. Martin served as a medic in the United States Army from 1946-1949 at Fitzsimmons Army Hospital in Denver, Colo. He was a plant engineer for Lebanon Steel Company. He served on the board of the Lebanon Water Authority. He owned his own antique business, which was located in various venues around Lebanon and Campbelltown. His faith was important to him and he was a member of the Rt. 230 (now GracePointe) Church of Christ for the past 20 years. Martin is survived by his wife of 20 years, Jane Valentine Arnold; a son, Jarrod Arnold; a daughter, Marta Arnold; a daughter- inlaw, Gail Arnold; three grandchildren and their families, David Arnold, Sarah Godshall, and Abigail Power; one greatgrandchild, Michael Godshall; four stepsons and their families, Mark Valentine, George Valentine, David Valentine, and Karl Valentine; a sister, Ethel Schlosser; and a brother, Wayne Arnold. Martin was preceded in death by his olden son, Martin Arnold, Jr., and his stepson, Bill Valentine. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. today at the GracePointe Church of Christ, 4806 E. Harrisburg Pike, Elizabethtown 17022. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to the ''Building Fund'' at the GracePointe Church of Christ.
