  Herman A. "Skip" Artz 
  
  Herman A. Artz LEBANON Herman A. 'Skip' Artz, 68, died Sunday, June 13, 2010, 
  in Cedar Haven. He was the wife of Elizabeth Hoadley Artz. He was born in 
  Lebanon on October 15, 1941, son of the late Herman V. and Beatrice Mae Carroll 
  Artz. He retired from the former Lebanon Steel Foundry after 24 years of 
  service and most recently worked at Henry Molding Co., Lebanon. Skip enjoyed 
  working in his garden, traveling, fishing and camping. He loved country music 
  particularly Hank Williams Sr., Johnny Cash, Jim Reeves and Red Sovine. In 
  addition to his wife he is survived by his son, Timothy Artz, Cleona; 
  grandchildren, Blaine Artz, Cleona, Catherine Hoy, Lebanon, Joseph Artz, 
  Cleona; great-grandchildren, Blaize D. and Zalin M. Hoy; brothers, Raymond Artz 
  and wife Joanne, Annville, Richard Artz and wife Linda, Lebanon; sisters, 
  Barbara Fessler and Sharon Artz; Avon Heights; and numerous nieces and nephews. 
  He was preceded in death by twin sons, Kevin and Michael Artz; sisters, Marian 
  Miller; Mary Sourwine; and a niece, Kimberly Artz. Funeral services will be 
  held on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., 
  Lebanon, where a viewing will begin at 12:30 p.m. Interment will be made in 
  Grand View Cemetery, Annville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to 
  the GSH Hospice, 202 Hathaway Park, Lebanon, PA 17042.
