  Harold E. Bashore 
   
  Harold E. Bashore BETHEL TWP. Harold E. Bashore, 77, died Wednesday, March 31, 
  2010, of natural causes at Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the husband 
  of Marilyn M. (Artz) Bashore. Born in Bethel, he was the son of the late Elmer 
  and Laura (Balsbaugh) Bashore. He was a graduate of Bethel High School. He 
  worked on the family farm in Bethel Twp. for many years and was also a school 
  bus driver for 48 years for Tulpehocken School District. He was a member of 
  Little Swatara Church of the Brethren. He was an avid outsdoorsman, enjoyed 
  hunting, and was a member of the Round Top Hunting Club. In addition to his 
  wife, he is survived by a daughter, Loretta J., wife of Jeffrey Fitterling of 
  Mohrsville; a brother, Kenneth Bashore of Spencer, Iowa; three sisters, Barbara 
  Smith of New Schaefferstown, Rita Soliday of Pine Grove, and Joyce Deisemann of 
  Shartlesville; and two grandsons, James and Joshua Fitterling. He was 
  predeceased by a son, Stephen L. Bashore, on March 6, 2007. Services will be 
  held Monday, April 5, at 11 a.m. at Little Swatara Church of the Brethren, 31 
  Rehrersburg Road., Bethel, PA 19507, with the Rev. Robert W. Krouse 
  officiating. Interment at Little Swatara Church Cemetery. Friends are invited 
  to call Monday 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Hill Funeral Home, Rehrersburg, is 
  handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made 
  to Little Swatara Church of the Brethren Building Project at the above address.
