Bashore, 64, died Saturday, November 6, 2010, at Christiana Care Hospital, Newark, Del., surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was married to Finda L. (nee Davis) Bashore, with whom he shared his life for the past 26 years. Born in Lebanon on October 4, 1946, he was the son of the late Frank W. and Carrie M. SutherlyBashore. He was Co-Owner/Operator of the former Feegs Exxon for over 25 years and was owner of Bashore Restaurant Equipment for the past 25 years. He was a member of Mount Zion Church of the Brethren. He was a member of Williamson Lodge #307 F & AM, Tall Cedars of Lebanon-Quittapahilla Forest #25, Reading Consistory, Rajah Shrine-Reading, and Lebanon County Shrine Club. Surviving besides his wife Finda is a daughter, Tammy JoYordy, Lebanon; a son, Robert L. Bashore, Jr., Fredericksburg; a step- son, Brett A. Yoder and a step-daughter, Tambra S. Hitz, both of Fredericksburg. He is also survived by three grandchildren and four step- grandchildren; four sisters, Mae Zimmerman, Bethel, Dorothy Shollenberger and Betty Bashore, both of Fredericksburg, and Darlene Boltz, Lebanon; and a brother, Frank Bashore, Denver. He was preceded in death by a brother, Vernon C. Sutherly. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral on Saturday at Noon at the Ruffner-Porterfield Funeral Directors and Cremation Services, 890 Isabel Drive(next to Quentin Circle), Lebanon. Interment will be held in the Merkey Cemetery, Route 501, Bethel, PA. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and also on Saturday one hour prior to the service. A Masonic Service will be held on Friday evening at 8:30 p.m. conducted by Williamson Lodge #307 F & AM. Memorial Remembrances may be made to Cure Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, 30 E.
