  Lucy M. Bender LEBANON Lucy M. Bender, 91, formerly of Jonestown, passed away 
  on Saturday, July 24, 2010, at the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the 
  wife of the late Harry J. Bender. Born in Cleona, she was the daughter of the 
  late Ray H. and Sarah E. Thomas Gerhart. She was a member of the Rocherty 
  United Methodist Church, the Jonestown Perseverance Ladies Auxiliary and the 
  Retired Steel Workers. She is survived by her daughters, Kay A. wife of Ron 
  Black of Whiting, N.J., Barbara J. wife of David E. Myers of Villa Rica, GA., 
  and Wendy M. wife of Dennis Groh of Jonestown; eight grandchildren; 11 
  greatgrandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by 
  her brothers, Mark H., Richard W. and Ray T. Gerhart. Memorial services will be 
  held on Monday at 2 p.m. at the Rocherty United Methodist Church, 255 Village 
  Dr., Lebanon. No viewing. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the 
  service. Inurnment will be at the Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, 
  Jonestown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her 
  church.
