  Rev. Conway E. Bennett MYERSTOWN Rev. Conway E. Bennett, 88, passed away 
  Friday, May 28, 2010, at Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Emma M. 
  (Bashore) Bennett. Born in Smith Creek, W.Va., he was the son of the late Olie 
  and Ollie (Lambert) Bennett. He graduated from Bethel High School in 1939. He 
  was a dairy farmer and salesman for Keller Bros. Ford in Buffalo Springs. He 
  was also recognized for 50 years of ministry and service to the Church of the 
  Brethren. He served as Moderator to Little Swatara Church of the Brethren from 
  1957-1967 and served as interim pastor in three other Brethren Churches. He 
  enjoyed playing pinochle with friends. He also traveled to various places 
  throughout the world in his retirement years. He was a member of and the former 
  President of the Bethel Senior Citizens Club. In addition to his wife, he is 
  survived by a daughter, Joan C., wife of K. Robert Caulfeild-James; a 
  daughterin-law, Carol L., wife of Michael Peace; three grandchildren, Cheryl L. 
  Straw, Christie D. Zellers, and Hayley L. CaulfeildJames; and four 
  greatgrandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Sydney, and Sophia. He was predeceased by a 
  son, Gary L. Bennett. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 2, at 
  Little Swatara Church of the Brethren, Bethel, with the Rev. Robert W. Krouse 
  officiating. Friends are invited to call Wednesday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the 
  church. Hill Funeral Home, Rehrersburg, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu 
  of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Little Swatara Church of 
  the Brethren, 31 Rehrersburg Road, Box M, Bethel, PA 19507.
