Blauch, 91, who lived her entire life in the Annville area, died Wednesday, December 8, 2010, in Countryside Christian Community, N. Annville Twp. She was the wife of Merle E. Blauch, who died in 2001. Born in N. Annville Twp., on February 6, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Penrose S. and Katie Light Hostetter. She and her husband worked together in farming from 1938-1972. Ruth was a 1936 graduate of Annville High School. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Congregational Church, where she served as the church organist and pianist. She attended the Sunshine Sunday School Class, was a former member of the Adult Missionary Fellowship, served as the Missionary Auxiliary Treasurer, and was a member of the Women's Christian Temperance Union. She enjoyed quilting and sewing. Surviving are three sons, Lynn E., husband of Cynthia Blauch of Palmyra, Ralph E., husband of Rachel Blauch of Annville, and Mark J., husband of Barbara Blauch of Bellegrove; three daughters, Lucille M., wife of Ralph Finkey of Palmyra, Anna R., wife of George Neast of South Williamsport, and Helen G., wife of Donald Booser of Hershey; 21 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Mark Hostetter of Cornwall and Penrose Hostetter of Bellegrove. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Lloyd, Allen, and Luke Hostetter; and two sisters, Cora Miller and Alma Neidich. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 14, at 10:30 a.m. from St. John's E.C. Church, 683 Steelstown Road, Annville, 17003. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. Viewing will be held on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville, and on Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Countryside Christian Community, 520 N. Rt. 934, Annville, PA 17003; or Compassionate Care Hospice, 1513 Cedar Cliff Road, Suite 100, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
