Blose CAMPBELLTOWN Ronald Ernest Blose, 68, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 4, 2010, at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. He was born Saturday, January 3, 1942, in Allentown to the late Ernest H. and Margaruite (Reiss) Blose. He is survived by his loving wife Mary (Leese) Blose, and would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on September 17, 2010. He graduated in 1959 from Hershey High School in the Vocational Print Shop. He began his printing career in 1960 at Cohen Brothers Printing in Penbrook for 10 years, before moving on to head the Print Department at Steiner Studios outside Annville for 10 years. In 1980 he opened his own print shop at his residence in Palmyra and in 1983 moved his shop to 2709 Horseshoe Pike in Campbelltown. He was a car buff from the time he could drive and was always looking for that perfect hot rod. He was one of the founding members of the Blue Moon Cruiser Car Club and has been an active member of the Country Cruisers of Lebanon County for over 10 years. He is survived by two sons, Jeffrey and wife Tammy and Michael and wife Patty; three grandchildren, Christopher Blose, Katie Carney-Blose and Britney Blose; two sisters, Sandra (Blose) Freysinger and husband Charles of New Bloomfield and Dhiresha Donna Blose of Montpelier, Vt. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078 with Rev. Dr. Wallace B. Landes, Jr. officiating. Family and friends are invited for visitation from 9 a.m. until time of the service. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Annville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the American Cancer Society , 526 Cumberland St., Suite 1, Lebanon, PA 17042; or the American Heart Association , 335 S. 8th St., Lebanon.
