Boeshore, Sr., 85, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2010, at his residence. He was the husband of Mary (Cikovic) Boeshore. William was born in Lebanon, on December 15, 1924, a son of the late Mabel Mae (Sholly) and William David Boeshore. He was a farmer, a foundry worker and also worked in the housekeeping department at the Good Samaritan Hospital. He was a member of St. Mary's Church, an officer of the Holy Name Society, and a member of the Ebenezer Fire Company. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a lifetime Phillies fan. He is survived by his wife, Mary; and eight children, Jeanne M., wife of Thomas Bailor, of Lebanon; Margaret M., wife of L. Bruce Stokes, of East Berlin; William H. Boeshore Jr., of Lebanon; Patrice M., wife of Jeffrey Corl, of Lebanon; Christine M. Smith, of Cornwall; Helen M., wife of James Bowers, of Lebanon; Joseph M. Boeshore, of Lebanon; and Thomas D., husband of Belinda Boeshore, of Church Hill, Md. He is also survived by a brother, Roy Boeshore; four sisters, Stella Rhoads, Edna Boeshore, Eva Peiffer and Betty Birch; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, George, Ralph and Robert Boeshore ;and a sister, Leah Baake. Funeral Mass Saturday at 12 p.m. from St. Mary's Church, 2 N. 8th St., Lebanon 17046. Viewing hours Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon 17042 and Saturday morning from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations may be made to St. Mary's Church.
