Bolen, Sr., 69, of 117 Palm City Park, died Wednesday, May 26, 2010, in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Judy Plasterer Bolen. Born in Carlisle, on December 29, 1940, he was the son of the late James R. and Ethel M. Smith Bolen. He was employed in the Moulding Department of the Hershey Company for 40 years. Bob was a 1957 graduate of Cumberland Valley High School, a member of Local Chocolate Workers Union #464, an avid bowler, enjoyed camping and traveling, and in 1955 was the Junior State Champion in Horseshoes. He was well known for his work on cars and spent the last several years riding around Palm City on his scooter visiting his friends. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, David, husband of Joy Bolen of Manchester; a daughter, Linda, wife of David Hugendubler of Hummelstown; brothers, John and Melvin Bolen; grandchildren, Matthew, husband of Holly Hugendubler, and Amanda and Melody Hugendubler; great-grandchildren, Chase Hugendubler, Thadeus Shradley, Chloe Hugendubler, Madison Hugendubler, Belinda Schroll, and Adrianna Ordaz; stepson, Todd A., husband of Susan Cranford, and their children, Brandon, Caitlin, Dakotah, and Landry Cranford of Campbelltown; and a stepdaughter, Megan Grenner and her fianc", Mark Muse, and her son, Jeremiah Dillard of Annville. He was preceded in death by a brother, James R. Bolen. A special thanks to John, Carl, Ace, and Jeff for taking Bob to breakfast every week. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 4, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be held in Grand View Memorial Park. Viewings will be held on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
