Boltz, 88, of 603 Huckleberry Lane, died Tuesday, March 23, 2010, in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the husband of Shirley Klepper Boltz, with whom he celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary in January 2010. Born in Lebanon, on September 3, 1921, he was the son of the late Andrew Boltz and the late Mamie Herb Boltz Kreiser. He retired after 32 years of service at the Cornwall Ore Mines for Bethlehem Steel Corp., Lebanon, and also worked 10 years for the Cornwall-Lebanon School District. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, serving from September 1942 to October 1945 as a machine gunner with the 669th AntiAircraft Artillery Machine Gun Battalion for which he received four medals. Clyde was a man whose greatest joy was spending time with his family. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Kerry, husband of Robin Boltz of Lebanon; a daughter, Marsha, wife of Donald Graby of Lebanon; grandchildren, Brian Graby and Melissa, wife of Gregory Karli; three stepgrandchildren, Bobbi and Steve Fessler, and Justin Belleman; two greatgrandchildren, Collin and Jackson Karli; a brother, James, husband of Isabelle Boltz of Lebanon; and a sister, Patsy Warner of Lebanon. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Mae Boltz; a son, Clyde E. Boltz, Jr.; two brothers, George and Marlin Boltz; and two sisters, Helen Werner and Gayle Rhoads. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be in Covenant Greenwood Cemetery, N. Lebanon Twp. Viewing will be held on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Children's Miracle Network, P.O. Box 855, Hershey, PA 17033.
