Dasher Boltz, 97, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2010, at home. She was the wife of the late J. Harry Boltz. She was born in Catasauqua, on October 26, 1913, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Virgie Rupp Dasher. She worked for the PA State Bureau of Employment Security for 32 years and retired in 1974 as the first female Manager of the Lebanon office. She was a charter member of the International Management Council and served several years as IMC secretary. She was also secretary of the Lebanon County Committee on Employment of the Handicapped for over 20 years. She was a member of the Practical Nursing Advisory Committee. In 1968 she won the Annual State Performance Award from the International Association of Personnel in Employment Security of which she was a member. Mrs. Boltz was a member of Midway Church of the Brethren, Lebanon for the past 12 years, prior to that she was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church for over 60 years where she served on several Church Boards, played piano for the Sunday School, taught Sunday School Class and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Women. Hannah is survived by a son, Harry W. and his wife Ann Marie Boltz of North Attleboro, Mass.; grandchildren, Margaret Susan wife of Sean Murphy of Germantown, Md., Jennifer Boltz of Austin Texas., Nancy B. wife of Stephen Gould of Southboro, Mass.; great-grandchildren, Macklin Murphy, Megan Murphy, Lee Margaret Gould and Jonah Gould; nephew, William J. Dasher Jr. of Palmyra. She was preceded in death by brothers, William and Earl Dasher. Graveside Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 2, 2010, at Ebenezer Greenwood Cemetery with her pastor Rev. Charles L. Ilyes officiating.
