Grant St., died Friday, April 23, 2010, in his residence. He was the husband of Valorie J. "Jamie" Smith Bowman, with whom he would have celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary today. Born in Cleona, on September 11, 1941, he was the son of the late Lloyd W. and Martha E. Deemer Bowman. He was a retired distributor of Archway Cookies and also worked as a State Chemical Sales Representative and an M. Brenner and Sons Sales Representative. He was a 1959 graduate of AnnvilleCleona High School. He was a member of Quentin United Church of Christ, the Annville American Legion, Blue Mt. Chapter of HOG, Antique Automobile Club of America, and the Lebanon Area Corvette Club. Rodger was also past president of the Annville-Cleona Jaycees and held life memberships in the American Motorcyclist Association, the Harley Owner Group, and the Lebanon Valley Motorcycle Club. He presently was serving as a Jaycee I Senator. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Stephen L., husband of Patricia A. Bowman of Annville; two stepsons, Jason M., husband of Lori A. Wingert of Harrisburg, and Aaron P., husband of Heather A. Wingert of Harrisburg; grandchildren, Janell and Eric Bowman, and Grant Wingert; two brothers, Donald L. Bowman of Lebanon and Timothy N. Bowman of Mt. View, Calif.; and a sister, Marilyn F., wife of Robert Converse of Rockville, Md. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St. Annville. Interment will be held in Quentin Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Wednesday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, P.O.
