  Mary A. Brown PINE GROVE Mary A. Brown, 82 of, passed away Friday, April 23, 
  2010, in Schuylkill Medical Center South, Pottsville. Born on October 1, 1927, 
  in Donaldson, she was a daughter of the late John and Eva Seiger Portland. She 
  was a member of Jacob's Lutheran Church and a member of the church Senior 
  Citizens. She loved her family and friends around her and she loved God. She 
  was also a member of the Pine Grove Senior Citizens. Mary was a graduate of 
  Frailey Twp. High School. She worked as a sewing machine operator for the 
  former Canoe Mfg., Pine Grove. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 
  years, Paul W. Brown, on March 4, 2000, and a sister, Alice Bassininsky. 
  Surviving are two daughters, Carolyn Nuske of Pine Grove and Shirley Spangler 
  of Bethel; three grandsons, Darrick Nuske, Douglas Nuske, and Adam Spangler; a 
  greatgrandson, Peyton Nuske; and a sister, Annie Schwenk of Chester. Funeral 
  services will be held on Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at 11 a.m. from the H.L. 
  Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove, with the Rev. Charles Oldland 
  officiating. There will be a viewing on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until time of 
  service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Jacob's Lutheran 
  Cemetery, Pine Grove. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions 
  be made to the Jacob's Lutheran Church, c/o Joan Fidler, 90 Lengel Road, Pine 
  Grove, PA 17963, in her memory.
