Brucker, 97, formerly of Lebanon, died Monday, November 1, 2010, at the Masonic Village Health Care Center, Elizabethtown, where she was a resident. She was the wife of John F. Brucker, Sr. who died in 1986. Born in Lebanon she was the daughter of the late Moscow and Ella Stutzman Duffy. She retired from Met Ed Electrical Company of Lebanon, after working there for 20 years. Mary was a member and former Sunday school teacher at Messiah Lutheran Church in Lebanon. She was also a member of Tolerance Chapter #115 Order of the Eastern Star of Lebanon, Ladies Auxiliary of Rescue #4 Fire Company of Lebanon, and was a former Cub Scout and Brownie-Girl Scout leader. Surviving are two sons, John F. Brucker, Jr. of Manheim, Larry husband of Faye Brucker of Sanford, Fla.; two daughters, Marie wife of Gordon Gingrich of Ephrata, Susan wife of John Loehr of Lebanon; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Carl Duffy of Myerstown, Daniel Duffy of Allentown, Richard husband of Rosene Duffy of Myerstown; and a sister, Joyce wife of Harold Noll of Myerstown. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son, Richard; a daughter Ellen; and six brothers and sisters. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1800 Oak St., Lebanon on Friday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Barry S. Kendall officiating. Private interment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. There will be a public viewing at the Heilig Funeral Home, 21 W. Main St. Mount Joy on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. with O.E. S. services at 6:30 p.m. Friends may also view at the church on Friday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
