Caleb, 81, of Cornwall Manor died Wednesday, June 30, 2010. He was the husband of the late Florence J. Gamber Caleb, N. Annville Twp. Born on September 11, 1928, at Ottawa, Kan., he was the son of the late William A. and Ida M. Burlingame Caleb. He was preceded in death by a sister, Calista Caleb Roth of Ottawa, Kan.; and a brother, Frederick Caleb of Topeka, Kan. He was a retired Sergeant Major, Army Intelligence and Security. He retired at Indiantown Gap Military Reservation in 1968. He was a veteran of Korea and Vietnam. His many awards and decorations included the Bronze Star Medal, Army Commendation Medal w/2olc, Korean Campaign Medal w/Silver Service Star, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal w/2 Bronze Service Stars. He was a graduate of Casper College, Abus, Casper, Wyo.; University of Wyoming, BS, Laramie, Wyo.; and Sam Houston State University, MBA, Huntsville, Texas. He was a retired Assistant Professor of Business, Longwood College, Farmville, Va. He was a supporter of Covenant United Methodist Church, Lebanon; life member Cornwall Manor Society; life member of the Human Society of Lebanon; and life member of the University of Wyoming Alumni Association. Surviving are nephew, Edward Gamber of Jonestown; nieces, Pamela Caleb Bolinger of Kent, Wash., and Cynthia Caleb Pippert of Lawrence, Kan.; nephews, Gerye Caleb of Brush, Colo., Kent Caleb and Brett Caleb of Topeka, Kan., and James Roth, Sacramento, Calif.; and many grandnieces and grandnephews. Visitation will be on Monday, July 5, 2010, from 7 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in the Rohland Funeral Home, 5th and Cumberland Sts., Lebanon. Interment will take place in the Covenant Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Covenant U.M. Church, 346 N. 9th St., Lebanon, PA 17046; Cornwall Manor, P.O. Box 125, Cornwall, PA 17016; or Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N.
