  Kenneth H. Carpenter 
  
  CARPENTER CORNWALL Kenneth H. Carpenter, 84, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 
  2010, at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Betty J. Kramer 
  Carpenter. Kenneth was born in Rexmont, on February 15, 1926, a son of the late 
  Leroy and Virginia Hartman Carpenter. He was a retired miner from the Bethlehem 
  Mines. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He enjoyed playing 
  amateur baseball, hunting and fishing. In addition to his wife he is survived 
  by five children, Kenneth L. Carpenter of Reading; Glenn R. husband of Vickie 
  Carpenter of Annville; Karen L. wife of Wilson Lineaweaver of Cornwall; Brian 
  L. husband of Stephanie Carpenter of Lebanon, and Lisa A. wife of Doug Spangler 
  of Lebanon; nine grandchildren, Ryan, Marissa, Tyler, Carla, Casey, Samantha, 
  Sarah, Sasha and Ellianna; two great-grandchildren, Westin and Claire; and one 
  sister, Nancy Yordy of Lebanon. He was preceded in death by a son, Robin L. 
  Carpenter; and two brothers, Gene and Robert Carpenter. Funeral Services are 
  private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be 
  made to the American Cancer Society , P.O. Box 1274, Lebanon, 17042. Thompson 
  Funeral Home, Inc., Lebanon, is in charge of the arrangements.
