Cramer, 76, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2010, in the Hershey Medical Center. Born in Lebanon, on March 21, 1934, he was the son of the late Dana Cramer and Margaret Moyer. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1950 during the Korean Conflict and continued his career with the PA Army National Guard at Ft. Indiantown Gap, Combined Support Maintenance Shop as a Production Control Specialist, retiring as a Master Sergeant after 42 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Anna (Ortenzi) Cramer. He was the proud father of four children, Donna Eckert and her husband, Greg, Diana Cramer- Zeiber, and Carole Spada and her husband, Mike, all of Hershey, and Rev. Donald Cramer, II of Sunbury. He was also the proud grandfather of seven grandchildren, Gregory and Michael Eckert, Zachary, Elizabeth, and Timothy Zeiber, and Joshua and Lauren Spada. Also surviving are a sister, Kathy Carnes of Steelton, and a brother, James Cramer of Lebanon. There will be a vigil service at 5:45 p.m. on Sunday, October 3, followed by a viewing from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Route 422 and Lucy Ave., Hershey. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by his son, the Rev. Donald Cramer, on Monday at 11 a.m. in the St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, Hershey. Interment with military honors will follow in the Hershey Cemetery. Contributions may be made in his memory to the St. Joan of Arc Parish Memorial Fund, 359 W. Areba Ave., Hershey, PA 17033.
