  John D. Daly 
   
  John D. Daly, 70, of Newmanstown, PA, formerly of Baltimore, Maryland, died 
  Saturday, September 4, 2010 at St. Joseph Medical Center, Reading, PA. 
  He was the husband of Mary C. (Mettille) Daly to whom he was married 47 years 
  on June 15. Born in Pittsburgh, PA on February 7, 1940, he was the son of the 
  late John W. and Louise F. (Charvat) Daly.  In 1985, he received a Bachelor of 
  Science Degree in Bible from the Valley Forge Christian College, Phoenixville, 
  PA. and served in the U.S. Navy.  He worked as a master electrician for 
  I.B.E.W. Local 24, Baltimore, Maryland for many years. He had also been a 
  master electrician for Universal Machine Co., Stowe, PA for 7 years before 
  becoming pastor of the Community Worship Center, Newmanstown from 2008-2010. 
  In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter Michelle wife of Eric 
  Oteri of Oley, PA; sons, Michael Daly husband of Rosemarie Hood of Trappe, PA 
  and David Daly of Collegeville, PA; 4 grandchildren; brother Wade Susie of 
  Towson, Maryland; 2 nephews.  Funeral services will be held Friday, September 
  10, 2010 at 1 PM from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, 
  PA. Viewing Friday at 12 PM. Interment at Millcreek Memorial Cemetery, 
  Newmanstown, PA.
