Main St., Annville, died Thursday, October 7, 2010, in ManorCare Health Services, Lebanon. Born in Annville on November 26, 1907, she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Stella Tice Detweiler. She worked as a sewing machine operator for Keystone Mills, Annville. Maggie was a member of Annville United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir. For 42 years she volunteered in the nursery and was a Sunday school teacher, and for 75 years held perfect attendance at Sunday school. Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl and Simon Detweiler; and four sisters, Miriam Kleiser, Mary Schultz, Mildred I. Ensminger, and Merva Detweiler. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 12, at 10:30 a.m. from the Annville United Methodist Church, E. Main St. and College Ave., Annville, 17003. Interment will be in Covenant/Greenwood Cemetery, N. Lebanon Twp. Viewing will be held on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church. Contributions may be made to her church in Maggie's memory.
