She was born in Annville, on April 16, 1915, the daughter of Mary Heilman and Uriah P. Brubaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Albert H. Domm. Ethel graduated from Annville High School in 1933. She left Annville to attend nursing school at Philadelphia General Hospital where she completed her RN training course. After their marriage on November 28, 1946, Ethel and Al moved to Los Angeles where Dr. Domm continued his medical career with the Prudential Insurance Company. Their schedule in California enabled them to pursue world travel which became a passion for them. Over the years they repeatedly crossed the globe reveling in the culture and history of the peoples visited. Ethel brought together her hobby of needlepoint with their passion for travel by memorializing many of the places visited with some of her special needlepoint creations. Both Ethel and Al were a real blessing to family and friends alike. They were very generous to many, helping with medical, housing, and educational needs. They were strong supporters and benefactors of Hill Lutheran Church in Lebanon. Ethel was a wonderful aunt, spending time instructing and encouraging her nieces and nephews and creating many of those special memories of childhood. In their later years, Ethel and Al moved to the Carrington Pointe Retirement Community in Fresno to be near family.Ethel is survived by her two sisters, Mildred Shade of Palmyra, and Elizabeth Soldo of Clovis, Calif.
