Dove, 90, formerly of Palmyra died Sunday, December 5, 2010, in the Masonic Village at Elizabethtown. She was the wife of the late Harry Dove who died in 1996. Born in Mt. Solon, Va., on March 17, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Carlos Roscoe and Ressie Virginia Knot Howdyshell. She was retired after 30 years of service in the Kiss Department at Hershey Foods Corp. Robena was very family oriented and was a member of the Palmyra Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, baking pies and bread, canning, talking on the phone, watching TV, playing bingo, and getting her hair and nails done. Surviving are six daughters, Betty wife of Joe Butch of Annville, Frances Gingrich of Palmyra, Saunda wife of James Smith of Ovilla, Texas, Lynda wife of Harold Bashore of Elizabethtown, Kimberly wife of Tom Marasciullo of Lewisberry, Tamara Dunn of Carlisle, two sons Carson husband of Candace Dove of Green River, Wyoming, Monroe husband of Dawn Dove of Palmyra; 23 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Gordon Howdyshell of Pekin, Ill., and six sisters Mazie Huffer of Mt. Solon, Va., Kathryn Rudolph of Staunton, Va., Edna Jordan of Staunton, Va., Della wife of David Sines of Smith Mountain Lake, Va., and twin sisters Molly wife of James Emmett of Mt. Solon, Va., and Polly wife of Willis Hise of Mt. Solon, Va. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Dove, a granddaughter, Tiffany, and two brothers, Thomas and Edgar Howdyshell. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra. Viewing will be held on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Masonic Village Hospice, 1 Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 or her Church at 45 N.
