(Eberly) Druckenmiller, 96, formerly of Temple, died Friday, November 19, 2010, of natural causes at Stone Ridge - Poplar Run, Myerstown. Her husband, Paul D. Druckenmiller, died January 7, 2010. Born in Millerstown, she was the daughter of the late Brady and Flossie (Boltz) Allen. She worked at Betsy Ross Potato Chips in Richland; was an Assistant Manager at Dolly Madison Ice Cream, Reading; Owner and Operator of The Park Luncheonette and Bowling Alley on Penn St., Reading; the Proprietress of Drehersville Craft Shops; and was a Welcome Wagon Representative. Kathleen was a very creative lady with lots of good ideas, energy, business sense, and craftsmanship. She was a member of First Evangelical Congregational Church, Reading, and a longtime member of the Wernersville Heritage Society. She is survived by a brother, Rev. A. Dean Allen of Arizona; two sisters, Marjorie Moyer of Mountaintop and A. Lucille Welder of Temple; a stepdaughter, Karen Garverich of Mt. Joy; great grandsons, James, Ryan, and Aaron Delp; stepgrandsons, Mike and Scott Garverich; and a step great-grandson, Owen Garverich. She was predeceased by a daughter, Doris (Dolly) Delp Snyder in 1976; a grandson, James Earl Delp in 2001; and two brothers, Byron and Clair Allen. Services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, Inc., Wernersville, with the Rev. Dana Logan officiating. Interment at Weidman's Cemetery, Sinking Spring. Friends are invited to call Tuesday 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to First Evangelical Congregational Church, 18 N. 8th St., Reading, PA 19601.
