Early, 50, died Thursday, April 1, 2010, at his home. Born June 19, 1959, in Harrisburg, he was a son of Harold Early of Palmyra and the late Martha (Lilek) Early and was also preceded in death by a step-son, Mark A. Swearingen and a half-brother, Harold H. Early, Jr. A 1977 graduate of Palmyra High School, he was a member of Future Farmers of America and attended Lebanon County Vo-Tech School for small engine repair. He was a machinist; also worked for Harold Early Excavating and was a member of Middletown Hunters and Anglers and Perseverance Fire Company, Jonestown. Surviving in addition to his father are his wife, Lisa J. (Snavely) Early; daughters, Carrie J. Early at home and Julie M. Early of Palmyra; grandchildren, Anthony K. Swearingen and Jordan J. Harris, both of Palmyra; brothers, Kenneth H. Early and Robert I. Early, both of Palmyra; half-sister, Gina A. Stahl of Lebanon; and his faithful companion Peanut. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. Viewing 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Buse Funeral Home, 145 N. Grant St., Palmyra.
