Viola Eshleman, 94, formerly of Lititz, entered into rest at The United Zion Home, Warwick Township, on Monday, November 1, 2010. She was born in Denver, a daughter of the late William G. and Elsie (Brubaker) Landis. She was the wife of the late Chester R. Eshleman, who died in 1999. Viola was a lifetime member of Bergstrasse Lutheran Church, Ephrata. She worked for Luther Acres in the food service industry until retiring in 1983. In early years, she volunteered at the Mt. Airy Fire Hall and the Mt. Airy Chapel. She enjoyed cooking, and family gatherings. Surviving are her son, Earl R., husband of Sandra (Haldeman) Eshleman of Lititz; two daughters, Fay Boyd, and Joyce, wife of Richard P. Good, both of Lebanon; nine grandchildren; 29 great- grandchildren; sister, Evelyn wife of Paul Michael of Brownstown; and foster brother, Adam, husband of Joyce Ansel of Ephrata. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Esther wife of the late Charles Lawrence. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Stradling Funeral Home, 201 Church Ave., Ephrata, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at the Bergstrasse Lutheran Church, 9 Hahnstown Rd., Ephrata. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, with Pastor Herbert A. Lohr officiating. Interment will follow in the Bergstrasse Lutheran Cemetery, Ephrata Township. Flowers are welcomed or memorial contributions in Viola's memory may be sent to Bergstrasse Lutheran Church, 9 Hahnstown Road, Ephrata, PA 17522; or Hospice of Lancaster County, P.O.
