Farnsworth, 82, died Tuesday, December 28, 2010, of natural causes at his residence. His wife, Alice E. (Wolfe) Farnsworth, died December 17, 2010. They would have celebrated 50 years of marriage on December 31, 2010. His first wife, Annie (Orendo) Farnsworth, died in 1960. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Charles and Helen (Bross) Farnsworth. Clayton served in the U.S. Army. He was the owner and operator of Farnsworth Auto Sales & Parts since 1957. He was a member of the Bethel Fire Company. He is survived by a son, Larry R. Farnsworth, husband of Joanne of Bethel; two daughters, Debra A., wife of Isaac Benzel of Fredericksburg, and Susan E. Farnsworth-Luckenbill, wife of Rickie Luckenbill of Bethel; three stepdaughters, Nancy L., widow of Richard Brown of Bethel, Geraldine A., wife of Larry Lebo of Fredericksburg, and Carol J., wife of Richard Blatt of Fredericksburg; a sister, Grace Dove of Lebanon; 12 grandchildren, Richard Brown, Jr., Terry Brown, Keith Blatt, Steven Lebo, Nina Klee, Tina Kochman, Nicole Leibensperger, Sherry Massaro, Heather Forry, Danielle Mock, David Leese, and Roger Sheesley; and 25 great-grandchildren. He was also predeceased by a stepson, George J. Long; a brother, Charles Farnsworth; and a stepgrandson, Chad Brown. Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Hill Funeral Home, Rehrersburg, with the Rev. William B. Fryer, Jr. and Pastor Jason Reed officiating. Interment at Salem Reformed Cemetery, Bethel. Friends are invited to call Thursday 6 to 9 p.m. and Friday 10 to 11 a.m. at Hill Funeral Home.
