'Al' Field, 91, died on Saturday, June 19, 2010, at his home. He was born on Wednesday, May 28, 1919, to the late Ammon Field and Ella Field (nee Kissinger), in Lebanon. He was a member of Zion 'Goshert's' United Church of Christ. He worked as a spreader/cutter for Public Shirt Factory for 32 years. He was a veteran of the Army in World War II. He was a member of the Lebanon Flower Club. He also enjoyed fixing things and having fun with people. Surviving are wife Annie Field (nee Kegerreis), Lebanon; sons, Paul spouse of Clara Field, Bethel, Ray spouse of Priscilla Field, Methuen, Mass.; daughter, Eleanor spouse of David Bachman, Lebanon; 10 grandchildren; 16 greatgrandchildren; brother, Vincent Fields, Reading; sister, Gladys Bowie, Gulfport, Miss.; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brother, Lee Fields. Viewing will be on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Zion 'Goshert's' United Church of Christ, 1588 Mt. Zion Road, Lebanon. Funeral services will be on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at Zion 'Goshert's' U.C.C. Cemetery, Lebanon, following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to GSH Hospice, P.O. Box 1281, Lebanon, PA 17042; or Zion 'Goshert's' United Church of Christ, 1588 Mt. Zion Road, Lebanon PA 17046.
