  Richard L. Fritz Sr. 
  
  LEESPORT Richard L. Fritz, Sr., 84, died Thursday, September 23, 2010, at 6:29 
  p.m. in the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Mary Jane (Miller) Fritz. 
  They were married on March 3, 1945, and celebrated 65 years of marriage. Born 
  in Leesport, he was the son of the late Clarence D. and Ardell (Lenhart) Fritz. 
  He was a 1944 graduate of Ontelaunee High School. Richard was a U.S. Army 
  veteran of World War II. He worked as a transportation coordinator for the 
  Schuylkill Valley School District until retiring in 1997. Richard was life 
  member of Salem (Belleman's) Church, Centre Twp. Surviving, in addition to his 
  wife, are one son, Rick L. Fritz, husband of Nancy E. (Bickel) Fritz of 
  Blandon; and two daughters, Joan E. (Fritz), widow of W. Davis Mason of 
  Orwigsburg, and Linda J. (Fritz), wife of Bruce L. Waltman of West Brunswick 
  Twp.; and two brothers, Harold L. Fritz of Kenhorst and C. Clifford Fritz of 
  Stewart, Fla. Richard is also survived by three grandchildren and three great-
  grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Marguerite E. (Fritz) Rossiter. 
  Services will be on Wednesday, September 29, at 11 a.m. from Leibensperger 
  Funeral Homes, Inc., Main St., Centerport. Burial with military honors will be 
  in Laureldale Cemetery. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Tuesday from 
  7 to 9 p.m.
