  HERSHEY Daniel L. Gesford, 43, of East Canal Road, Hershey died after a 2 year 
  battle with colon cancer Monday, August 30, 2010, at the Carolyn Croxton Slane 
  Residence, Harrisburg, surrounded by his family. Born May 28, 1967, in Hershey, 
  he was the son of Donald W. and Catherine E. (Epler) Gesford of Hershey. He 
  worked for the Hershey Company, was a member of Chocolate Workers Union Local 
  464, a 1985 graduate of Lower Dauphin High School, avid fisherman, and loved 
  boating and working out at the gym. In addition to his parents, he is survived 
  by a son, Frank C. Wike of Highlandtown, Md.; sisters, Donna Gesford of 
  Harrisburg, Debra, wife of Daniel Grumbine of Hummelstown, Linda, wife of Bim 
  Kerlin of Grantville, and Cindy, wife of David Felty of Jonestown; nieces, 
  nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. 
  Friday at Buse Funeral Home, 145 N. Grant St., Palmyra. Burial will be in 
  Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra. Viewings 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 10 to 11 a.m. 
  Friday both at the funeral home.
